Lullabelle Finds Her Forever Family is a children’s book about a box of baby chicks being brought home. These are special chicks because they are purple. One of the chicks always gets out of the box, wanting to explore. This chick appears to be bigger than the others. Once they are moved from the box to the chicken coop with the other grown chickens, Lullabelle emerges first. The Mama Hens take them in as their own. Over time, Lullabelle notices that she is different. Then, she meets someone who looks just like her. Her new friend looks different than the other chickens, but she doesn’t mind. She soon learns that she’s accepted by her chicken family just the way she is.
