Melinda McQueen
Hi, I’m Melinda. My home is with my husband in east Texas. I am a writer and have always loved to write. Having Cerebral Palsy, which affects my speech, I fell in love with writing at an early age. I began writing short stories in third grade. Writing allows me a freedom I wouldn’t have otherwise. I began writing poetry in eighth grade and never stopped. Poetry allows me to be graceful where CP doesn’t.

Moveable Mountains: My Early Years
Moveable Mountains is about my life from birth to my high school graduation. In it, I tell about my Cerebral Palsy and how I navigated through my years. I tell how I fared in school, having bullies. I speak of the challenges I had to overcome. I share my faith in Jesus and how I became a Born-Again Christian. In this book, I take you into my life, allowing you to meet great people who have weaved in and out of my world. I believe that all have served a purpose and that they have made my life better simply by being in it.
